Sunday, February 26 is the annual Tower Mardi Gras Parade sponsored by the Tower
District Marketing Committee. KFCF will once again participate in this
festive celebration of the Tower and our community. This year the theme of
the parade is a celebration to the Gulf Coast and New Orleans. Wanna have
some fun and let it all hang out (well maybe not all) ? Well, join in on
the fun and march in the parade with your KFCF buddies as part of our
contingent. We'll carry the banner and throw beads to the faithful as we
walk up Olive Avenue from the DMV building (near old 99) to the Tower District
and thence to celebrate in whatever chosen ways. Nothing required but
yourselves - dress wildly if you please - and your family, friends, pets or
whatever. We will meet between in front of the Department of Motor
Vehicles at 12:15 pm with the parade commencing at 1 pm. If you're
