be passing through Fresno on Thur, 11/17 and want to do something to help
KFCF. Cathy was able to arrange to use the large room at the African
American Museum in downtown Fresno on short notice (most other places were
booked), and here's her draft flyer. Since this is real short notice, if
anyone has any ideas or suggestions for advertising and promoting the event,
please let us know ASAP. Hill says if we serve drinks, food, etc., it has
to be in non-throwaway containers.</FONT></DIV>

protest of the environmental destruction caused by clear-cutting of ancient
redwoods culminated after 738 days with an agreement that provided permanent
protection for the tree known as Luna and a surrounding 3 acre zone,
demonstrating that one person can make a difference. </SPAN></FONT></P>
